This program provides students an insight to the applications of biomechanical testing in sport and exercise science. It is an active introduction to biomechanical tools used to investigate performance.

Students are hands on with state of the art equipment and technology to explore concepts of biomechanics and apply them to athlete training and human performance.
Students collect primary data in three different experiments to examine vertical jump, force production and passing techniques. Students use video and data analysis to further improve performance and limit potential injuries.
An excellent opportunity for sport science elective students to gain further knowledge of career pathways and application of technology in industry.
