Interviewing a champion in front of television crews and photographers is all in a days work for Year 6 students at Belmont Primary School!
Today students attended the BioCATS program and were surprised with a welcome from star Cats player Patrick Dangerfield, who is also an ambassador of the BioCATS program. Students had the opportunity to interview Pat and ask him hard hitting questions on his use of science and maths on the field, to improve his performance and to recover from injury.
We would like to send a very big thankyou to Belmont Primary School Year 6 staff and students for being such a great group to work with and holding it together in front of all of the television and print media!

The BioCATS program is all about maths and science with a healthy edge!
Each activity developed under the BioCATS brand provides a unique insight into the application of maths and science skills using real life scenarios from the Geelong Football Club.
Our educational experiences are themed with physical activity and the wonders of the human body to engage students in a unique learning environment and emphasise the importance of healthy body, healthy mind.
This partnership program was designed in 2012 by BioLAB: The Victorian BioScience Education Centre in partnership with the Geelong Football Club. It has been successfully delivered to over 10,000 Victorian primary school students from the Deakin Cats Community Centre at GMHBA stadium.
The BioCATS program is proudly supported by Bisinella.
