Beat That – Secondary

Beat That takes students on a journey into medical and exercise technologies used to measure the human cardiovascular system. During the program students will investigate the accuracy of different equipment and form their own conclusions using primary and class data.

Students will learn about the cardiovascular system by collecting their own heart rate data with real-time data sets and using mathematical analysis techniques.

Concepts of focus include using the fair test principle and analysing data using percentage calculations in order to form valid conclusion from the results.
