The Human Machine (VCE)
The Human Machine (VCE) allows students to learn experientially, immersing in a range of physiological tests to look into the body’s acute response to exercise.
The program looks at two distinct areas of physiological measurement; cardiovascular and respiratory. Students gather their primary data, analyse results and engage with key terms and concepts for each acute response.
This program utilises leading edge technologies such as ergometers, physiological sensors and iPads to explore the acute responses to exercise and the science of human performance.
